The AMANI Forum Regional secretariat is located in Nairobi Kenya. The Secretariat is charged with the co-ordination and planning of all aspects of AMANI's work at the regional and inter-chapter level.
The Secretariat is responsible for driving the programme work, originating ideas for approval by the Regional Executive Committee, partner liaison including fulfilling reporting requirements, oversight of AMANI standards and oversight of Chapter activities.
With the Executive Secretary playing a lead role, the Secretariat staff comprises of two Regional Programme Officers, Finance and Administration Officer, a programme Assistant and an Office Assistant.
The Secretariat is also charged with executing and following up the policies, decisions and projects adopted by the AMANI Forum General Assembly and Regional Executive Committee. In this regard, the Secretariat is responsible for fundraising, oversees the implementation of the AMANI Forum budget and administers AMANI Forum finances and property. |
